Modern performance cars are brilliant at going fast and terrible at going up a standard loading ramp. Splitters an inch off the ground and carbon aero that costs more than a used hatchback. We move them properly.
Low ground clearance is the whole issue. These cars need a hydraulic tilt bed or extended low profile ramps, and often both. A standard ramp angle will destroy a splitter.
Nose lift helps but doesn’t solve it. Most lift the front by 40 or 50mm and many are speed limited, switching off before loading is finished. Rear diffusers catch on the way off just as often.
Securing is wheel straps over the tyres, never chains across suspension. Modern adaptive dampers and air suspension were not designed to carry that load and it knocks the geometry out.
